Diesel got Roxy right from the onset his eccentric madness almost stripping away at the usual artifice. Again, I do not want to kink-shame anyone, but I can't get my head around the logistics of some of these sex scenes - there's just no way some of them are possible without death / serious harm.

The Vipers have no idea what they want to do with Roxy at first, but one of them, Diesel, the unhinged one who carries a fanny pack with explosives and other things, finds her fascinating. This book tries its hardest to convince the reader that in some way Roxy CHOSE to stay with the Vipers. Also, I appreciated how the author did not design the FMC to waver from her bruteness, rebelliousness, and strong-headed nature.

This was AMAZING As you know I like my grittier, edgier, darker non conventional books and this one right here ticked all my boxes. There was a lot of spice with this book and a few scenes that will likely shock you based on the content. If you like your heroines tough and sassy then you have to meet Roxy our bat welding girl who doesn’t go down without a fight.

There is nothing terribly surprising here, apart from how terrible this book is to endure for 600 pages. Storyline/My Thoughts: I’m going to admit, too, that this book was not a favorite, but I did like some aspects of it. Garret is the kind of male character that you could easily envision in your head and his grumpiness (and dislike for the FMC in the beginning), but his warm and caring heart behind closed doors will make you fall in love with him. Furthermore, I appreciated how each of the MMCs was uniquely structured and how they handled the FMC each time they appeared in a scene together or separately.

Yes this book won't be for everyone so if your not a fan of crazies, sex and bad language then maybe you should not be looking at this genre to start with.I liked the storylines, first about the Roxy as a captive, then about their problems with the triad.

In spite of what her harem dudes say about her (see above), this is a girl who has zero sense of self worth. Some scenes were not necessary to the story so it would have been better to use that time to bring in something more with the rival gang. His extremely affectionate and bold personality with his little bird when he wasn't getting down and freaky helped to offset his more extreme sexual proclivities helping to Showcase a much more human side to him, at least with his little bird. I'm English so listening to these voice actors is particularly painful for me, I cannot deal with the terrible voice actors so I can't even finish it, they sound like cockneys in their early 60s and that's being nice, I feel like the voice actors watched Oliver twist for reference of an English accent and were like "yeah, I could do that" no one speaks like this in the UK unless you're a born and bred cockney and even then to sound remotely like this you would have had to have been alive during WW1. I just think as a bar owner, she would know when to act crass and tough and when to act like a lady. It ruined the whole story, I could not listen to the story because I spent the whole time listening to the mis-pronunciation of every other word. Roxy refers to John Wick a few times and this book does remind me of John Wick in a way because it was quite bloody and the bodies do pile up throughout the book.
