This book pointed out scriptures I can go to and provided very deep discussion questions at the end of each chapter. We see him as the one who is the Saviour of the world, and yet knows us each by name - even if we answer to the most common name in town. We deny that humans can or should cede our moral accountability or responsibilities to any form of AI that will ever be created. When AI is employed in accordance with God’s moral will, it is an example of man’s obedience to the divine command to steward creation and to honor Him.

It’s strange that I don’t remember a whole lot of preaching/teaching on the women in scripture, I have to wonder why that is because they have so much to teach us. What I was most pleased to see was how Jesus enters the world of women from all different types of backgrounds. We see him as the one who gathers up our broken hearts and bodies in His arms, and as the only one who has the power to make us whole. Lifting away the obscuring layers of modern Western interpretation to reveal Jesus in the light of his actual historical and cultural setting, the author guides us into a deeper understanding of the person and significance of Jesus. The woman who dared not come to him directly, but touched his clothing secretly, is recognized by Jesus intimately. If you want further reading on women’s role in the church and an exegetical look at what specific verses mean, I would recommend Evangelical Feminism by Wayne Grudem or Men and Women in the Church by Kevin DeYoung. We affirm that the development of AI is a demonstration of the unique creative abilities of human beings.

As an individual or group study, Gaze Upon Jesus is a memorable way to encounter the God who sent his Son to show us his loving Father's heart. In her book, "Jesus Through The Eyes of Women," Rebecca McLaughlin presents an excellent treatment of numerous women who were associated with Jesus throughout his life and ministry. Grounded in Scripture rather than mere tradition or any cultural moment, this is the best book I’ve ever read on the topic of women and Christianity. And many unbiblical things have happened in the name of God, Jesus Christ, and/or the church, including the treatment of women. Here any kind of ideological agenda stops and McLaughlin surveys the New Testament evidence and lets it speak for itself. Each of them provides a glimpse of our Lord, showing how Jesus Himself cared deeply for these women and, not only honored them, but elevated the dignity and integrity of women in a culture where women were often abused and sadly, often treated as little more than property. GOD, REVELATION AND AUTHORITY VOLUME 4: GOD WHO SPEAKS AND SHOWS: FIFTEEN THESES, PART THREE, by Carl F.

This is such an excellent book and so well written, our group is using it for a book study and it has taught us much. But while Jesus is the source of every good thing we have, and loves to hear our prayers, if we knew the gift of God, and who we were talking to, we’d ask him, first and foremost, to give us himself.Through the eyes of these sisters, “we see [Jesus] as the one who welcomes women and defends their right to learn from him. We see him as the one who does not count their history against them, but who knows each detail of their past and welcomes them into his stunning future.
