Thankfully, Animal (real name Nick Culmer) has recovered enough to be able to perform, and played his comeback gig last weekend.

I think there’s a lot of other people probably, possibly like me, who get far more out of the punk music scene in attitude than they actually realise. In 2006, the band set up their own independent record label, Nowhere Records; with Pig Iron - The Album being the first release in August 2006. GBH are a UK82 band who get asked back time after time, and fans know what to expect – hard, fast punk rock tunes like No Survivors, Slit Your Own Throat and Big Women.Frontman and lead singer Nick Culmer, better known by his stage name Animal, of English punk group Anti-Nowhere League performs live on stage at The 1865 venue in Southampton.

Hopefully they’ll bring their whole show – more theatre than punk rock – as they wheel out classics like Joker In The Pack, Smart Alex and Viva La Revolution. Nick: We do play on the skinhead festivals, but I think they are not as rowdy, should we say, as the other ones. At the 2012 Download Festival, the band appeared on the Pepsi Max stage hours before Metallica filled the main stage as headliners. You rode with bike gangs, skipped the country and lived off the grid in the Canadian mountains, spent a couple years in jail. The only difficult side of it is, there’s so many lyrics – and my brain isn’t as big as it used to be.saw the band record and release a collection of classic reggae covers under the title League Style, Loosen Up Vol I.

Anti-Nowhere League are an English punk rock band, formed in 1979 by lead singer Animal (Nick Culmer), guitarist Magoo (Chris Exall), Bones (Tony Shaw) on drums and Chris Elvy on bass. I don’t think you’ll solve any problems with it, there’s been demonstrating songs forever, it don’t change fuck all. I don’t diss the original guts of the song, I just diss the fact that I fucked them up in my own stupidity. This line-up released the band's fifth studio album, Kings and Queens in 2005, which was released on the Captain Oi!I read Viva La Rock Magazine recently, and I saw your name splattered all over these gig festival line-ups celebrating the 40th anniversary and everything. I'M JUST A REGULAR GAL; SCOT HITCHED TO TRUMP TREASURER TRIES TO REBOOT IMAGE Obnoxious actress who married a millionaire US politician and caused. Up next are Cyanide Pills, a five-piece from Yorkshire who have released a whole raft of singles and three albums – the most recent being 2017’s Sliced And Diced, which made No 6 in Vive Le Rock magazine’s end-of-year album poll. And in my book it says that I should’ve took his advice, that he was right, I just fell out with him [over it].
